General Terms and Conditions (GTC)
- Applicability of the GTC
1.1 These general terms and conditions (GTC) apply to orders from private customers and businesses made through the website www.repairparts.ch
1.2 The purchase contract is deemed concluded once the order is confirmed online.
For distance purchases made in other ways, such as by phone, fax, or letter, these GTC also apply. They will be sent to the customer in writing with the order confirmation. If a customer does not agree with the GTC in such cases, they can exercise their right of withdrawal (see Section 5.3).
- Prices and Special Offers
2.1 Prices are stated in CHF. VAT and advance recycling fees, as well as handling fees, are included for private consumers. For customer groups such as retailers or wholesalers, prices in the shop are displayed without VAT. Shipping costs (for Switzerland and Liechtenstein) will be shown during the payment process.
2.2 The provider reserves the right to change prices at any time. The prices published on the website on the order date apply to customers.
2.3 Conditions for promotions and discounts can be found in the corresponding information.
- Delivery Conditions and Transfer of Risk
3.1 Physical goods are delivered within Switzerland, Liechtenstein, and the EU.
3.2 Unless otherwise stated in the offer, the delivery time for Switzerland and Liechtenstein is 1 to 2 working days. For deliveries to the EU, the delivery time is between 5 and 10 working days.
3.3 If the order does not arrive within the above-mentioned period (see Section 3.2), the customer is obliged to notify repairparts customer service immediately.
3.4 If not all ordered products are in stock, repairparts is entitled to make partial deliveries.
3.5 The risk is transferred to the buyer once the goods have been handed over to the carrier by repairparts . Repairparts cannot be held responsible for delayed or non-executable deliveries. This also applies to packages stolen from mailboxes.
- Liability, Warranty, Returns, and Complaints
5.1 The provider guarantees that the goods meet the agreed-upon properties, do not have defects that reduce their value or suitability for the intended use, and conform to the prescribed performance and specifications.
5.2 The buyer must inspect the delivered goods as soon as possible and report any defects immediately, within one to three days after receipt. Contact the appropriate customer service at info@repairparts.ch. Hidden defects can still be reported after use of the goods. Payment does not imply a waiver of the right to claim defects.
5.3 If a defect is present, the buyer has the choice to request free repair, a reduction in price equivalent to the defect, withdraw from the contract, or receive a replacement delivery. The buyer’s right to claim damages remains reserved in all cases.
5.4 Complaints or returns of any kind are accepted within 15 days of receiving the goods and processed within 14 days.
The following reasons for returns are accepted:
- Incorrectly received parts
- Is the item defective? Please include a detailed description.
- Defective goods (warranty case, see below)
Was an item ordered incorrectly? You can return the item, but a handling fee of 20% of the invoice amount excluding shipping costs will be charged.
Return costs are to be covered by the customer.
5.5 Warranty
What is covered under warranty for spare parts?
- Touchscreen issues: display/touch not working, touch partially working, or touch unresponsive
- Flex or IC problems
- Frame is coming loose
- Display and frame are too thick to be mounted
- Display backlight problem
Was the item damaged during shipping? In this case, please report the damage to the nearest post office immediately so we can find a quick and satisfactory solution. Please note that the package is insured, and the post office will cover the costs in case of damage.
Some of our products come with a one-year warranty, indicated on the product. If an item is returned after one year due to a defect, the customer is entitled to a replacement or a refund of the current value.
What is not covered by warranty:
- Older than 3 months
- Display was improperly installed and damaged
- Flex cable is broken
- Touchscreen is defective/broken
- Display is broken
- Display from another manufacturer
- On installed spare parts
- Payment
6.1 Payment can be made in the following ways upon customer request:
6.1.1 Invoice
The invoice will be included with the shipment of the goods. The payment period in this case is 10 days after receiving the order. Repairparts GmbH reserves the right to conduct a credit check for every order placed on account. If the credit check does not meet the minimum requirements for an invoice, the order will automatically be changed to prepayment.
6.1.2 Paypal, Postfinance, Postcard, Credit Card
For payments via Paypal, Postfinance, Postcard, or credit card, the customer’s account is charged at the time of the order. Payment by credit card is processed via the provider Paypal or Postfinance, which can be chosen by the customer. All major credit cards such as Visa and Mastercard are accepted.
6.1.4 Prepayment
Orders are processed once the customer’s payment is received.
6.2 The goods remain the property of repairparts until full payment is made.
- Liability for Online Connections
7.1 The provider undertakes to ensure security in systems, programs, etc., that belong to it and are within its control, following current technical standards and complying with data protection regulations.
7.2 Customers are responsible for ensuring the security of systems, programs, and data within their control. Customers should keep passwords and usernames secret.
7.3 The provider is not liable for defects and malfunctions that it is not responsible for, particularly not for security deficiencies and operational failures of third-party companies with which it cooperates or on which it depends.
7.4 Furthermore, the provider is not liable for force majeure, improper handling, disregard of risks by the customer or third parties, excessive strain, unsuitable operating resources from the customer or third parties, extreme environmental influences, customer interventions, or disruptions caused by third parties (viruses, worms, etc.) that occur despite the necessary current security precautions.

Governing Law and Jurisdiction
8.1 The contractual relationship between the customer and repairparts is governed by Swiss law. Any disputes arising from these contractual relationships shall be settled by the ordinary court in Neuchâtel. -
Final Provisions
9.1 If any parts of these general terms and conditions should be invalid, this does not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The relevant legal provisions shall apply in place of the invalid provisions.
